Bill Belichick is an evil genius. You don’t usually see Mr. Hoodie on the wrong end of stupidity, but ol’ Bill sure pulled a doozie last night. Up six, and going for it on 4th and 2 from your own 28? Seriously? Sure, it was ballsy, and maybe he didn’t have faith in his defence stopping Peyton Manning, but that’s just not a decision that Bill makes. This isn’t 2007 when you could score at will and convert 99% of your arrogant fourth down attempts.
Sure, the Pats are still a great team, and Belichick is still a great coach. But as a Bills fan who KNOWS stupidity in coaching, it’s nice to see The Hooded One screw up from time to time. Misery loves company.
But, hey, thanks Bill. The ensuing Reggie Wayne TD allowed me to come from behind and win my fantasy matchup this week in a shootout. Sure, I still have Ray Rice tonight, but now he’s just gravy.
